Every year after Christmas, I drive up to Vermont to visit my eldest daughter, her husband, and five of my lovely
grandchildren. Since January 2006, I have toured all the state capitols between my home in Kentucky and Maine and back that have
statewide smoking bans, on my way to and from Vermont. I ask folks in each state, "Please liberate The People's Republic of (name of
state I'm in). This is a grandma from Kentucky, asking as politely as I know how". I always take pictures on these trips, but have
not managed to get them up on the website for quite a few years. Here are the pics from my just completed 9th Annual NE
Tour. Starting out this time, Liberty Van had a bit over 390,000 miles on her odometer. When I arrived home, she had over
394,000. When I made this trip with her the first time, in January, 2006, she started with about 57,000 miles on her odometer .
Started out with a LOVELY
snowstorm. Both of my vans are equipped with studded snow tires in
winterso snow and ice might slow us down, but it usually does not stop us. I left home on 1/21, and headed for one of my FAVORITE places, Kingwood,
WV. Parked overnight at their Walmart (after riding through town with all Liberty Van's pretty red, white, and blue lights on). Visited with my lawyer in the AM. It had snowed during the night, and was still coming down. All afternoon, drove through the gorgeous WV ountains, on Hwy. 51 (most of it 2 lane) with the roads covered with 3"- 4" of snow. There were lots of 9 percent grades, with hairpin turns - both up and down. Would have been impossible without those tires, and didn't get over 40 mph for most of the day anyway. Finally got out to I81, and into Virginia, and it (weather) was just
as bad (maybe worse) there, and getting dark. Next morning, I dropped off a puppy in Richmond. My vans ARE DOG vans. I started
this trip with four puppies, and a big, stately older rescue Afghan Hound.
I always cruise through Washington DC on
this trip, as well.
This was on the day of the March for
Life. Both Liberty Van and Freedom Van have 'CHOOSE LIFE' license
plates.
Dropped another puppy off in NJ on my way up to CT. The other two puppies are my 'keepers' from that litter, a boy and a girl. I brought them along so I could spend time with them, play with. and start training them. They are a LOT of fun at this age (about 11 weeks old when we started out). A near white cream male I'm calling 'Roger', after Officer David Rogers of Carlisle, PA. At www.libertyvan.com there are links to some of my adventures in Carlisle, with Officer Rogers. The puppy's registered name is Hosanna My Light Shines On. Update, he finished his Championship from puppy classes, and sired "Shine", Hosanna Miracle of Light, before I sent him to England, where he is now called "Rahah", and has sired a couple of beautiful ALL white litters there. The female puppy (I call Passion) registered name is Hosanna Love the Light. She also finished her Championship from the puppy classes, a couple of months before her brother, and became a Grand Champion. Their sire is called Flash, named Champion Hosanna White Lightning (hence the 'light' names : ).

I dropped off the lovely rescue boy at his new home near Concord, NH.
We (the puppies Roger & Passion and I) had a lovely though way too short visit with my daughter, her
husband,and their five beautiful kids. Could not stay longer as I had to be in court in Harrisburg, PA on Monday AM.
Had a bit of business in Harrisburg, PA. Appealed my 'conviction' for having a TELEVISION on my dashboard. Yes, an adult officer has been PRETENDING that my REAR VISION CAMERA (which I bought for SAFETY) is a TELEVISION.Unfortunately, a magistrate, and also this judge (at my appeal) have upheld that charade. Also, since they are pretendingit is NOT a rear camera, I'm 'convicted' of obstructed REAR vision. Silly, since the camera is mounted BELOW my rear window, so I can see all the way to the ground, close up behind the van(s - I have the same set up in Freedom Van). I can see a toddler, or someone in a wheel chair behind me - for at matter, a BIRD sitting ON the road - MUCH BETTER than a standard 'rear view
mirror'.
My attorney is filing an appeal in
Superior court. IF this precedent stands, PA will have
license to plunder anyone who installs SAFETY EQUIPMENT. PA seems to have a strange bias against anything 'after market'. If I were to dump my two vans, and run out and buy one of the new ones that is being advertised as COMING equipped with a rear camera system, that would be finewith them. BUT, since I spent $300 (actually TWICE for Liberty Van - when it got hit by lightning about 5 years ago it blew up my rear cam, and I replaced
it + another $300 for Freedom Van's), THAT is against the 'law' in PA. If you live OR drive in PA, YOU no longer own YOUR vehicle it is the PROPERTY OF THE STATE! You may NOT equip it the way YOU want.
You should know that even if I trashed my art by clearing everything off the rear windows, it would make NO difference as far as my being able to see out those windows. My vans are loaded to the CEILING with great big dog crates, etc.I can't see the WINDOWS, let alone
see OUT of them. There are panel vans everywhere which do not HAVE ANYwindows in back at ALL. My van is no different than those, except I'll bet most of them do NOT have a rear vision system.
More often than not, I enjoy a bit of 'big city' cruising on this trip, in NYC. LOVE to wave my ILLEGAL OVER sized Flying J soda mug out the window, as well as blow LOTS of SMOKE : ).
Some (VERY FEW) people think my van is 'distracting'. It should be illegal to drive in cities,
then.

About Jan 6, 2021, I was NOWHERE near there. I was at doctors with my wonderful almost 80 year old husband,
where we learned he had a terminal illness. However, I would not have gone then, though I participated in many
ACTUALLY PEACEFUL protests over many years. I was hoping the evidence of the election fraud would be
presented to congress. I can think of NO reason ANYONE who supported Trump would NOT want THAT TO
HAPPEN! It is obvious that riot was instigated by those who DID NOT want the evidence presented. Sadly,
they succeeded.
Also, my Vermont daughter and son in law, who have 5 of their own kids, adopted 3 more a couple of years ago,
so the count of Vermont grandkids is now 8.

I am totally committed to being supportive, and COOPERATIVE with ALL
Constitutionally
proper law enforcement. I also do my best NOT to allow my God Given Rights to be

EVERYONE loves

they are idiotic and mean spirited. As someone who is
very law abiding
(I don't even litter - not even cig. butts!), I expect our law enforcement to honor their oath to obey the

and refrain from violating my rights. If they 'pick a
nit'on my vans, I DO consider that harassment,
and I will
fight it in court.
NO one is paying me anything
to do anything. I'm a 'ticked off' grandma from
Kentucky.
It doesn't get ANY more
'grassroots' than that. All my projects are 100%
PRIVATELY
funded. They are also about 99.9% PERSONALLY
funded. Since I am not actually 'rich',
I may end up a bag lady. I am doing what I am
CALLED to do, and using EVERY inspiration,
talent, and resource
God has blessed me with. It all belongs to
Him, anyway.

I watched the effects of
QUITTING smoking cost
BOTH of my parents their
health. My father smoked
for more than 50 years, and
he was a healthy guy. Then
he quit at almost 70. The
150 lbs he gained AFTER
he quit smoking is what killed
him when he was almost 80.
The drug industry LIES about
tobacco in their attempt to
get rid of yet another natural
herb, because they can't
patent it. They want us to buy
more chemicals from Chinese
factories instead. EVERY day
folks are getting sick because
they've been CONNED
into quitting smoking.
Most non-smokers are mentally well
balanced folks, who could not care
less if someone smokes, so long
as no one blows it on them. There
is a TINY MINORITY of NEUROTIC
people, who will stand out in a
parking lot, in the middle of a
hundred idling automobiles, and
complain about SMOKE. Those folks
are MENTALLY ILL.
